Anyway last night I came across this post of Bulbagarden: http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/showthread.php?t=19695
This post details a method that can possibly make shiny Pokémon appear, unfortunatly there is a LOT to this method @_@
Basiclly you have to "chain" a Pokémon with the PokéRadar, meaning you have to get the same Pokémon each time, so if you're looking for a shiny Buizel, you have to chain Buizels, all the information is in the post anyway. Run into a different Pokemon and you have to start over again.
The theroy is that the higher you chain the Pokemon, the more chance you get to encounter a shiny. Now last night I managed to chain 40 Shinx's in a row, after that I started re-setting the PokéRadar which means just running around to charge it up, using it and if no shiny turns up, run around to charge it up and use it again, I did this about 2 or 3 times and I soon noticed one piece of grass was brighter than the others and was twinkling, that's where Lucky was :D
Now some people have managed to get a shiny between their 13th to 23rd try ect. so I think it's down to luck WHEN they appear, but apparently the more Pokemon you have chained, the more chance there will be to see one.
Follow all the instructions in the post anyway, it's very very hard to do, but a very good challenge, though there's always the chance you'll lose a high chain of Pokémon so it's a very frustrating process. I lost a chain of 26 Buizel's today D: I've found a better spot for getting buizels though i think so I'll try that tomorrow.
The Elite 4 rock |D I can only hope the others will get episodes, especially OOBA, cos he's awesome :3
